Gosh we love a winter wedding! There really is something special about the farm at this time of year. As if the blazing fire in the barn and mulled wine weren't enough to blow us away, Gillon's father donned his kilt and bagpipes to perform the most phenomenal rendition of Waltzing Matilda. It was a highlight of the year and I daresay bought a tear to the eyes of a few of the staff.
Christi and Gillon's day began with a ceremony under the stables eaves in the paddock and wound up with a bonnie ceilidh -yep, that spelling is correct, it's pronounced 'kay-lee' and is a traditional gaelic dance. Congratulations Christi and Gillon!
