'"If you're in need of a tree change but not keen on leaving zone 1 then the Farm Cafe is an accessible slice of rural life. Located on prime Yarra River parkland, this sanctuary for jaded city slickers is also popular with cyclists and the stroller set. Chicken, duck and goat pens line the route to the cafe which serves up, not the animal residents, but a simple selection of items like home-made sausage rolls, or free range eggs and bacon with spiced tomato relish. A dedicated kids menu plus daily blackboard specials supplement the regular offering and be sure to check the website for upcoming farmers markets."
