Easter + The School Holidays

Tuesday, March 23, 2010 | Share

Easter is nearly here & with it brings fond memories of putting the finishing touches on our easter hats for the annual school easter hat parade.  Lots of coloured paper, ribbon, tuille, pom poms, glitter, sequins & felt being strategically placed to create the perfect headpiece.  Good luck to those of you who are entering a hat this easter & we hope to see the creations at the farm over the long weekend.

The cafe will be will open every day over easter & the school holidays except for good friday. Easter sunday is also family day at the farm & this month we are celebrating everything poultry.  Come down for exhibitions & sales plus tractor & donkey rides.

Little Eats reviews the Farm Cafe

Monday, March 01, 2010 | Share

A great new site reviewing Kid friendly cafe's has popped up recently. It is called Little Eats and it provides 'a quick and easy guide to kid-friendly Melbourne cafes and the services they provide – highchairs, change tables, easy pram access, separate kids menus, the kid-friendliness of the staff, play areas, activities or toys provided, as well as prices and the overall atmosphere of the place.'

Having a 15 month old daughter and loving cafe's as we do it has proven to be a fabulous resource to find Melbourne's great kid friendly cafe's and to avoid the one's that make you feel like your the devil for having a pram!

Of course, they have also reviewed the Farm Cafe. You can see the full review here
